Over 40 teachers were trained in two cycles of training on the methods and approaches of Creating Learning and the Montessori Method.

The participants included teachers selected from 5 different Primary /Secondary Schools (so-called Istituti Comprensivi) in Palermo metropolitan area:

– ICS Politeama
– ICS Amari – Roncalli – Ferrara
– E. De Amicis
– ICS Manzoni Impastato
– ICS I. Florio San Lorenzo

Moreover, a first experimental implementation in the multicultural classroom with 11 teachers led by the teacher and a CISS trainer expert in non-formal education methods (III B Federico II – ICS POLITEAMA) took place.

The CISS strategy to multiply and make as more effective as possible the social impact of its project actions aimed at migrant minors on a local, regional, national and European scale.

The majority of teachers taught in multicultural classes with relevant presence of pupils of migrant background and have acquired a good intercultural perspective and showing an excellent level of motivation.
